Meet The Team

Greg Harms
President
Greg began his career at his family’s business over 30 years ago. Greg worked his way from the production floor to President and General Manager at Rigid Component Systems, a building component manufacturer. As one of the founders of Data Base, Greg has used his skills and expertise in manufacturing to help develop Data Base's Smart Sophie(tm) family of products. The combination of his real time experience, many connections in the industry, and software design experience provides Data Base customers with a powerful management tool. Greg also holds a position on the Community Advisory Committee for Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley and is on his Church Council in Longmont Colorado.
Jeff Harms
Chief Technology Officer and Software Developer
Jeff has been involved in just about all aspects of computer programming and software engineering since 1975. The applications he developed prior to 2000 were in the mini-computer industry, database and architectural graphic software, point of sale, and credit card processing. He used his skills and expertise in these industries along with his intimate knowledge of the manufacturing business to develop Data Base’ Smart Sophie(tm) family of products. Jeff is also the Artistic Director and Conductor for the Rocky Mountain Ringers, a renowned handbell choir he helped establish 15 years ago. Jeff is also very active in the Grant Ave Street Reach program in Denver which feeds over 1000 people every Monday.
Tim Harms
Vice President of Operations and Support
As the Operations Manager at his family’s business, Tim uses the Smart Sophie(tm) family of products exclusively to run the day to day operations of the facility for years. His responsibilities included product manufacturing, shipping/receiving, and inventory control. Using that experience, he has been involved in every aspect of the design, testing, and implementation of the Smart Sophie(tm) products for Data Base. Tim is also in a local rock and roll band and is the Entertainment Chairperson for “Frank’s Ride for Children”, the single largest fundraiser for the Colorado Make a Wish Foundation.
Jennifer Holderby
Vice President of Human Resources and Finance
Jennifer began her career in her family’s business as a component designer. She worked her way up into management and is now Vice President of Human Resources and Finance for Data Base. With her daily experience and intimate knowledge of HR and Finance, she too has been instrumental in the design of the Smart Sophie(tm) family of products. Her experience and knowledge of the Smart Sophie(tm) product line has made her a key person in both training and technical support for our customers. Jennifer also currently serves as the Director of the School Board for a private school and enjoys hiking, bicycling and motorcycling.
